Zalohina Becomes A Reality Star In The Ukraine
From day one, 90 Day Fiancé reality star Yara Zalohina captured fans everywhere. The Ukraine model turns heads everywhere she goes. Not to mention, she’s used to having cameras around her all the time. Before making her big debut on season 8 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, she appeared on several reality shows back in her hometown of Ukraine.
According to sources, she appeared on Who Is Against Blondes? a spinoff of the Dutch show Beat the Blondes. Though, Yara didn’t agree to appear on the show just for the fun of it. Apparently, the model hated every minute she stayed on the show. Additionally, the 90 Day Fiancé star starred on the Ukraine show Fashion To The People years ago when she’d just been 19 years old.
She even made some rather shocking statements during the show, especially in regard to her ideal partner. Zalohina admitted that she wanted a “rich foreign man.” Obviously, her current husband Jovi Dufren checks off a lot of boxes for Zalohina. When producers inquired what lengths the star would go to bag her a wealthy foreign husband, she revealed she’d allow him to “beat her with a rod.” Yara Zalohina may have meant it as a joke at the time, but the statement made viewers a little uncomfortable.
The reality star clearly has a personal agenda to become a tv star. However, she needs to get her priorities right.
Yara Zalohina Tries To Hide Her Plastic Surgery
Speaking of getting her priorities right, Zalohina’s life goals are attributed only to looking good and being rich. There’s a lot of pressure to portray that “signature look” filmmakers always seek out in new talent. Advent reality-tv fans have especially paid witness to epic transformations of their favorite reality stars.
In fact, quite a few of the stars on 90 Day Fiancé have detailed their experiences with plastic surgery after making it onto the show. Yara Zalohina, however, isn’t very forthcoming with details on her cosmetic surgery journey. Fans speculate that the 25-year-old has had work done in the past. Reddit further affirmed the fans' suspicions, after the platform dug up photos and videos of her from 2013. Compared to how she looks now, there are visible differences in her appearance. Fans were quick to point out that she’s had work done on her nose. One critic posted the following comment on a 90 Day Fiancé Reddit thread, “She does not have her pure nostril, tooth, and lips for positive anymore. I ponder if that is actually her and she or he’s had a nostril job since.”
However, Zalohina played coy and denied claims of “going under the knife.” During a previous Instagram rant, the star explained that her “looks” changed simply due to human evolution. Fans would’ve bought her story, if she hadn’t contradicted her earlier statement by admitting to having lip fillers. From the before and after photos posted on Reddit, it’s plain to see that the 90 Day Fiancé had work done. Honestly, no one would be surprised if the plastic surgery helped her secure a spot on the show.
She's Not Looking For Love
Finding love on reality tv series seems unrealistic. While some tv couples have successfully found love on reality tv, most haven’t. In fact, reality stars rather have their five minutes of fame, than find love.

In a video snippet taken from the show and reposted by Reddit, the then 19-year-old revealed that she wants a foreign rich man as her ideal boyfriend.
What really caught fans attention though was the fact that she’s never fallen in love with someone. The reality star explained that “At first, I think it's love, but in fact it turns out to be just sympathy for a person and it fades very quickly,” Zalohina said in the video. The admittance seemed plausible at the time, given that was still a teenager. Her earlier statements, however, still ring true given her complicated relations with her husband Jovi. All their petty fights, especially the epic fallout at the furniture store, have made fans suspicious of Zalohina’s true intentions.
Many have even accused her of being a “Gold-Digger” over social media, just as they did with Jovi’s ex-wife. Given her mistreatment of Jovi, it’s likely Yara Zalohina isn’t on the show to find love.
